Visit St Petersburg for the Hermitage, Canals & White Nights of Aurora Borealis


The beautiful, historic city of St Petersburg in Russia is becoming more popular as a tourist destination and it is not hard to see why. With The Hermitage museum housing the Tsar's Palaces and the largest art collection in the world, the famous canals of St Petersburg leading to its name the "Venice of the North" and the White Nights.


Visitors in June or July will be surprised to find that it does not become dark at all as the Northern Lights phenomena assures a constant twilight throughout St Petersburg.
